Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Yorkshire Live at 4.4 against Firefeed's 1.0. Yorkshire Live also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 8 months) and review sentiment (27% vs 0%). Firefeed's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
