Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Doodle Sub at 4.6 against Jump Kid's 3.7. Doodle Sub also leads on update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 17 months) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 15.0). Jump Kid's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 86%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Doodle Sub sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Jump Kid sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Doodle Sub holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Doodle Sub's written reviews are positive against 100% of Jump Kid's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Doodle Sub ships an update every 4 weeks, Jump Kid every 17 months. The most recent releases landed on September 15, 2026 and September 18, 2026 respectively.
