Verdict
Inning Eater (Baseball game) and Swing&Knock both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 73% of Inning Eater (Baseball game)'s written reviews are positive against 33% of Swing&Knock's. Swing&Knock's advantage is ratings volume (11K vs 291) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Inning Eater (Baseball game) sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and Swing&Knock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Swing&Knock holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Swing&Knock has 11K ratings behind it against 291, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of Inning Eater (Baseball game)'s written reviews are positive against 33% of Swing&Knock's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
