Snowmobile Trails of Newfoundland and Labrador, This app will allow you to track yourself on many snowmobile trails in the province. Mostly NLSF groomed trails but it also contains some unmanaged trails too. You can use it to plan your trips or to find yourself if you get lost. The app has Topographical and Satellite maps and now has a 3d map option including 3d buildings. Trail maps are automatically updated when you open the app so you always have the most current trail maps available. Grooming updates are available in the app for all the groomers on the Island. A full overview of the areas covered and trails is available on the website http://snowtrailsnl.com The maps contain lots of services like gas stations, restaurants, hotels, etc. with more being added all the time, hotels and lodges have their phone numbers in their popup when you click on them. You can purchase trail passes from the NLSF from within the app You can report any hazards you may come across while on the trails, one click to report a hazard and you can also add a description for it as well. and it will get added to the maps The app is frequently updated and all user feedback is welcomed.
