Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Speed Society at 4.9 against Late Model's 3.6. Speed Society also leads on review sentiment (98% vs 64%) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 3 months). Late Model's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Late Model ships an update every 3 months, Speed Society every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
