Stop wrestling with sticky notes, gym floor tape, and "wait, where do I go after the chorus?" FormMotion is where you design, animate, and share your formations; built for experienced dance teachers and coaches, all the way to anyone putting together their first routine. Sketch a formation, drag your performers exactly where you want them, then set how many beats they hold and how many beats it takes to reach the next spot. FormMotion animates the whole routine to your BPM, so you can watch it move before a single dancer sets foot on the floor. WHAT YOU CAN DO Build formations by dragging performers into place String formations together into a full routine, with beat counts and BPM for every transition Choose straight-line paths, or add sweeping single and two-point curves for more dynamic movement Play back the whole routine in real time, with a built in metronome to keep the tempo honest Flip to 3D to see a formation from the audience's view Set your stage size, add wings, toggle a grid, and choose whether the audience faces the top or bottom Give every performer a name, colour and shape so formations are easy to read at a glance Duplicate a formation, or even a whole routine, to try variations without starting from scratch Leave a comment on any formation as a note to yourself or your team Export a routine to share with another coach, or open one they've shared with you WHO IT'S FOR Whether you're an experienced dance teacher building out a season of routines, a coach mapping drill for a cheer or marching squad, or a dancer choreographing your very first piece, FormMotion keeps every formation, transition, and count in one place instead of scattered across notebooks, sticky notes, and memory. FormMotion is free to get started, with a Pro upgrade available for unlimited routines, performers, and formations, plus a Heat Map view, PDF export, and adding music to your routine.
