LoggerNet Mobile Connect vs EXPLORER Connect

LoggerNet Mobile Connect lets you access your LoggerNet network using a mobile device. The app can be used to check LoggerNet and datalogger status as well as view and collect data from individual dataloggers. Field maintenance tasks such as setting the clock, sending programs, and changing station settings (including variables) are also supported. LoggerNet Mobile Connect requires that a copy of LoggerNet Admin or LoggerNet is running on a computer that is accessible via TCP/IP, with remote connections enabled. The current version will allow you to connect to our LoggerNet Admin software v4.0 or greater. LoggerNet Mobile Connect will also connect to standard LoggerNet v4.4 or greater. LoggerNet Mobile Connect requires Logon Security (implemented in standard LoggerNet 4.4). The app is compatible with all Campbell Scientific dataloggers.

EXPLORER CONNECT simplifies management and usage of EXPLORER 510, 710, and 323 terminals. Via the Connect app, it is possible to monitor and configure the terminals. A satellite phone capability is part of the app that enables making and receiving calls using a smart phone connected to an EXPLORER satellite terminal. The EXPLORER Connect main menu includes: - Satellite phone - Use your smart phone as a satellite phone to make and receive calls with EXPLORER BGAN terminals*. - Dashboard - Overview of terminal status. - Settings - extended menu with access to phone settings (SIP), terminal pointing assistance, terminal webpage, and About page. *Note: For use of Satellite Phone, the phone/tablet must support IP Telephony (SIP).
