Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: EB at 5.0 against 247 Live's 4.3. EB also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). 247 Live's advantage is ratings volume (12 vs 2) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EB sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and 247 Live sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
EB holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 247 Live has 12 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
EB ships an update every 3 weeks, 247 Live monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
