What is Unscene? Unscene is a location-based audio experience that invites you to move through the world differently. As you walk, cycle, wander, or pause, you leave behind short voice recordings - tied to the places where they were spoken. Others encounter them later, not through feeds or followers, but through presence. It is less a social network and more a shared memory layer - an invisible archive of human thought woven into streets, parks, alleyways, coastlines, and cities. Speak your thoughts without an audience. Listen to real voices without an agenda. Discover the location and the feelings that it inspired. There are no profiles to perform for. No metrics to chase. No AI voices pretending to be human. Just people speaking honestly into the air, trusting that someone, somewhere, might one day hear it. You might hear a stranger confess a fear at a bus stop. A moment of joy recorded on a late-night walk. A question left unanswered on a hill overlooking the city. Each voice is ephemeral yet grounded - rooted in place, shaped by movement, discovered through curiosity. How it works Authenticated users can create 30-second Unscenes, capturing a voice note and a photo tied to their location. These moments can be discovered by others who pass through the same space, liked, and shared—not to amplify them, but to acknowledge their existence. Unauthenticated users can explore freely, listening to Unscenes left behind by others, drifting through a chorus of anonymous, deeply personal perspectives.
