Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: PowerNation at 31% against RACER+'s 8%. PowerNation also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). RACER+'s advantage is rating (3.6 vs 3.3). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. PowerNation sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and RACER+ sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
RACER+ holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 3.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 150 and 215 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of PowerNation's written reviews are positive against 8% of RACER+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
PowerNation ships an update monthly, RACER+ every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
