Merge the blocks, level up, but beware of the red blocks in this puzzle game for you! How to play? When you swipe the screen, all the blocks move together in that direction. Try to push blocks with the same number together to level up. But beware of the blocking red blocks! Try to get three or more of them next to each other, to remove them. '25' is the perfect marriage between a sliding block puzzle game and a match-3 game. So tell me, what is your highest score? @BartBonte

*Droppy* A highly addictive, fast-paced arcade puzzle game! *How to Play* Drop balls into columns and keep the grid from overflowing. Choose wisely — your next ball appears at the top of the screen, and where you place it could trigger explosive chain reactions... or total gridlock. *Explosive Gameplay* Balls explode when their number matches the total count of balls in their row or column. Example: In a column with 4-2-3-4, both “4” balls will explode because there are four balls in the column. *Ball Types* - Unlocked – Ready to explode. - Locked (dotted circle) – Can’t explode yet. - Double Locked (solid circle) – Even tougher. Locked balls can be unlocked if they’re adjacent to an exploding ball. *Chaining Reactions* Each explosion rearranges the grid. Chain multiple explosions together for massive points and satisfying combos! *Level Up* Drop enough balls to level up — but beware! Every new level adds a row of double-locked balls from the bottom, pushing your grid closer to the top. *Game Modes* - Easy - Normal - Difficult Higher difficulty means fewer drops before a level-up — and a much greater challenge to keep the grid clear. *Scoring* Earn points for every ball exploded. Chain reactions multiply your score exponentially. Clear the grid or level up for big bonus points! *Ads & Upgrades* Droppy includes ads, but you can upgrade to the ad-free experience with a one-time in-app purchase. *Compete on Game Center* Sign in to Game Center and climb the global Droppy Leaderboards. How long can you survive?

Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Droppy at none against 25 (game)'s shown. Droppy also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (169 vs 22). 25 (game)'s advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 25 (game) sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Droppy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
25 (game) holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Droppy has 169 ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of 25 (game)'s written reviews are positive against 100% of Droppy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
25 (game) ships an update every 7 months, Droppy every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
