Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Nutrient Deficiencies by Crop at 100% against Quick Commodities's 26%. Nutrient Deficiencies by Crop also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 6) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). Quick Commodities's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 13 months) and ratings volume (505 vs 4). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Quick Commodities sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Nutrient Deficiencies by Crop asks for nothing beyond the download.
Quick Commodities holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Quick Commodities has 505 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Nutrient Deficiencies by Crop's written reviews are positive against 26% of Quick Commodities's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Nutrient Deficiencies by Crop ships an update every 13 months, Quick Commodities fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 13, 2026.
