Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is price: MOTIV Audio at Free against Ultrasonic Analyzer's $19.99. MOTIV Audio also leads on rating (4.6 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (3.8K vs 35). Ultrasonic Analyzer's advantage is review sentiment (56% vs 41%) and iOS requirement (12.4 vs 18.0). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

MOTIV Audio holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MOTIV Audio has 3.8K ratings behind it against 35, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Ultrasonic Analyzer's written reviews are positive against 41% of MOTIV Audio's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Ultrasonic Analyzer ships an update every 4 months, MOTIV Audio monthly. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
