Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Funny Sound Effects + at none against Applause !'s 1. Funny Sound Effects + also leads on ratings volume (6.7K vs 1.4K) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 17.0). Applause !'s advantage is review sentiment (79% vs 57%) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 11 months). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
