The call

The clearest difference is update cadence: Mind Games at every 3 weeks against Block Logic's every 19 months. Mind Games also leads on ratings volume (12K vs 57) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Mind Games holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mind Games has 12K ratings behind it against 57, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of Mind Games's written reviews are positive against 86% of Block Logic's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Mind Games ships an update every 3 weeks, Block Logic every 19 months. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
