Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is review sentiment: VibeCheck at 75% against The Image Converter □'s 27%. VibeCheck also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). The Image Converter □'s advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (17K vs 16). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS

CostPrice · In-app purchases · Ads · Monetization

Both are free to download. The Image Converter □ sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and VibeCheck sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

The Image Converter □ holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Image Converter □ has 17K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of The Image Converter □'s written reviews are positive against 75% of VibeCheck's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

The Image Converter □ ships an update every 5 months, VibeCheck every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
