Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Tap A Dot at 4.6 against Endless Gates's 4.0. Tap A Dot also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). Endless Gates's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 67%) and device support. On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Tap A Dot holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tap A Dot has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Tap A Dot's written reviews are positive against 100% of Endless Gates's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
