Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: iTichu at none against StarLinker's shown. iTichu also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and ratings volume (10 vs 1). StarLinker's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for iTichu against 5.0 for StarLinker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iTichu has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
iTichu ships an update every 2 months, StarLinker every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
