On one hand, friends prefer not to spoil relations by mere formalities. On the other hand, nobody likes to overpay, as well as to be in debt. Repay offers an elegant solution for this delicate problem. Use it for building a clear and transparent picture: who pays for what, what is the budget for an event, what are your shares, who owes you money and to whom do you owe. Repay shows the action sequence to all participants. Repay calculates financing and displays the results helping to find answers to typical questions: • who are the participants? • what is the total share of any participant? • to whom do I owe, and how much? • who owes me money, and how much? • how much money does a specified participant need to pay? • how much money do the other participants need to pay to him or her? • what is the total budget of the event? Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Pliant at 5.0 against Repay's 1.0. Pliant also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). Repay's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 75%) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Pliant holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Repay's written reviews are positive against 75% of Pliant's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Repay ships an update every 6 weeks, Pliant fortnightly. Both last shipped on September 23, 2026.
