BenchFinder vs My Ari

Find the next seating-bench, in swiss-german called "Bänkli", for sitting down, relax and enjoy. Other categories like fire places, play grounds or viewpoints are also available or can be added - of course with pictures of it and pictures of the view. This has already been done for over 6000 points in Switzerland and other countries :-) Do you plan your next walk with your grand-parents? With the app you know in advance if there are enough places to sit down and have a break. Or you can add it to the map when you walk through and know it for the next time - or for the next user in your area. Maybe you know a special place? Just add it to the app, for the joy of others as well. Added points are not only for this app, because your work doesn't belong to us. We'd like to have those points also exported to OpenStreetMap (at the moment this is not yet possible, mainly because of the lack of accuracy of the phone GPS's). For the rest of your data we're addicted to the strong privacy needs of Switzerland. We'll not give away any data other than mentioned (like positions of benches; for details see the privacy rules). For questions, bugs or feature requests we'd like to hear from you at support@mamo.li Permissions: For being able to upload pictures we need the memory permission.

Ari is your app for Zürich: a map that knows the city, and widgets you put together yourself. Made in Zürich by people who live here, with data from Switzerland. WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH ARI - See what's on today: concerts, parties, markets and exhibitions from several sources, on one map and sorted by day. - Eat well for under 20 francs: proper meals near you. - Find water, for your dog too: almost 1,000 drinking fountains in Zürich, sorted by distance, with a filter for fountains with a dog trough. - Discover queer Zürich, all year round: events, bars and community spaces. - Find the nicer way home: on foot through the old town, along the water and down quiet streets. - Plus weather and UV index, what to wear today, stops and departures, parking, city walks, places to unwind, gluten-free places, new places to eat and drink, sport, games and the moon phase. YOUR WALL, YOUR WIDGETS You decide what you see. Put your wall together: only the widgets that fit your day, in your order. New widgets are added all the time. WAYS THROUGH ZÜRICH You enter your destination, and Ari suggests routes and shows them on the map: sometimes the fast route, sometimes the quiet one, sometimes the better-lit one. FROM ZÜRICH We use Ari every day ourselves. The data is stored in Switzerland. We build Ari in the open, not once everything is finished, but together with you.
