Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Appeared at none against Dadish's 2. Appeared also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 87%). Dadish's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 11 months) and ratings volume (4K vs 6). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dadish sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Appeared asks for nothing beyond the download.
Dadish holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dadish has 4K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Appeared's written reviews are positive against 87% of Dadish's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Appeared ships an update every 11 months, Dadish monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
