How well can you distinguish between colors? Perhaps you have a special ability. The ability to recognize colors varies from person to person, and very few people can accurately distinguish subtle differences in colors. Only individuals with exceptional color vision can do so. You may be one of them. Would you like to test your skills and find out? I have created a game that allows you to test your color recognition skills and see how well you perform. You can also check your score on the global rankings and play with family and friends with the multiplayer feature. Maybe someone with special abilities is close you. Why not try playing together? This game blends elements of both "color vision tests" or "color blind tests" as well as "odd one out" games. - How to play Find the one square that is slightly different in color from the others and touch it. The game has three play modes. - Training Mode Select the difficulty level you want to play and press the start button. When the game starts, touch the square that has a different color from the others. There are a total of 10 questions. You can participate in the global ranking based on how quickly you answered all the questions correctly. If you make a mistake, penalty seconds will be added to your elapsed time, so choose your answer carefully. - Battle Mode Two players can play on one device. Player 1 plays in the bottom half of the screen and Player 2 plays in the top half of the screen. Please select the difficulty level you want to play and press the start button. If you want to play without any handicap, please select the same difficulty level as your opponent. When the game starts, touch the square that has a different color before your opponent. If you make a mistake, your opponent will win, so be careful. The first player to win 5 games wins the match. - Challenge Mode Select the starting difficulty level and press the start button. (Certain conditions must be met to select the starting difficulty level.) When the game starts, touch the square that has a different color from the others. The questions will become progressively more difficult. If you make 3 mistakes and your life becomes 0, the game is over. You can participate in the global ranking based on your score. For those studying color, such as color testers or coordinators, or those interested in color or with confidence in their color vision ability, please try to aim for the top spot on the global rankings.

Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: Easy at fortnightly against Odd Color Out's every 17 months. Easy also leads on ratings volume (273 vs 5) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Odd Color Out's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 71%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Easy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Odd Color Out sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Easy against 4.6 for Odd Color Out. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Easy has 273 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 71% of Easy's written reviews are positive against 100% of Odd Color Out's.
Easy ships an update fortnightly, Odd Color Out every 17 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
