Now it's time to perk up your ears! Only the most eloquent listener can survive in this puzzle and guess all 100 translated words. The only clue is a noise! So listen closely and ask your friends and family when you get stuck. There will surely be someone who can identify and place the noise and thereby provide the decisive clue. Or try to guess the word by uncovering a picture, hidden behind many tiles. You can lift up the tiles by clicking on them, revealing part of the picture. Try to guess the word by lifting as few tiles as possible, because the cost goes up with every tile, which reduces your winnings. Every time you guess a word correctly, you get a free spin of the wheel of fortune, which decides how much you have won. Try to solve all the puzzles economically and intelligently, and with a little luck, you won't go bankrupt. And once you get really stuck, then I'll display a picture as a clue, remove letters falsely placed or place searched letters corrrectly. This entertaining free word game does more than many other word games or word puzzle apps, because it enables experienced puzzlers or advanced mental athletes also to improve their vocabulary knowledge in nine languages (German, Turkish, English, Italian, French, Spanish, Russian, Dutch and Swedish) Right at the start, you hear a sound. The only clues you have are the sound, which you can listen to again at any time; the number of letters in the word you’re looking for in the chosen language; and fourteen visible letters, some of which unfortunately don’t appear in that target word. So now you have to rack your brains, reflect, listen, try or ask your friends. And if you are still stuck, there are three help functions that you can use. The green button on the left will immediately reveal one random letter of the target word and mark it straightaway as correctly placed. On the right you’ll find a red button. This one removes from the letters at the bottom waiting to be selected any which are wrong or not needed, thus making it much easier to guess. But sometimes it can also help to see a picture that matches the sound. This can often give a very good hint at the target word. The picture that matches the sound is partly visible in the top right-hand corner and can be completely revealed by clicking on the hovering question mark. But beware: this will cost you a lot of coins. Whenever you solve a puzzle you will get a reward of one coin for each letter of the target word. You can use these coins to fund the help functions described above. You see, they don’t come free! If puzzle help was free, the game would be no fun, or it would be far too easy. So use the functions wisely. If ever you are broke and then simply fail to get a target word after hearing the sound, our capitalist world does of course still give you the option of purchasing extra coins, which also rewards the poor app developer somewhat for his time and effort. So if you like word games, riddles, picture puzzles or word puzzles, and are experienced enough to recognise any sound, then “1 Sound1 Word” is just the right app for you. Do you have the superhuman ears that are needed to survive in this puzzle? - Each searched word has a noise and possibly a picture as a clue - Simple and beautiful user interface - Play with your friends or family - 100 puzzles await you - Help when you get stuck Have a lot of fun!

Remember doodling games in the back of your notebook during class? Tic Tac Toe in the margins. Dots & Boxes on the last page. Snake on every scrap of paper you could find. Notebook Games brings that feeling back — right on your phone. Every game is hand-drawn on warm, yellowed notebook paper. The lines wobble a little. The text looks pencilled in. The background has eraser marks and pencil smudges, just like the real thing. It's not polished. That's the point. 18 games, all hand-drawn on paper: • Doodle Kingdom — A full card adventure drawn in the margins. Build your deck, battle doodle monsters, reach the boss. No two runs alike. • Tic Tac Toe — The timeless classic, plus Super (4x4) and Ultimate (nine boards in one) modes. • Dots & Boxes — Draw lines, capture squares, outwit the AI. • Gomoku — Five in a row on a 15x15 grid. Pinch to zoom, undo moves. • Connect Four — Drop pieces to connect four in a row. Three AI levels. • Checkers — Jump and capture on an 8x8 board. Three AI difficulty levels. • Winding Words — Trace the theme words as they twist through the grid. Every letter gets used. • Five Letters — Guess the five-letter word in six tries. Hand-drawn circles and scribbles for clues. • Mini Sudoku — Quick 4x4 puzzles. Three difficulty levels with timer. • Minesweeper — Tap to reveal, hold to flag. Includes a no-guess mode: every board is solvable by pure logic. • Word Search — Find hidden words in a letter grid. Drag to select. • Maze — Find the exit, or try One Line mode: cover every cell with a single unbroken pencil stroke. • Snake — A calmer, softer Snake. Pencil-drawn on notebook paper. • Hangman — Guess the word before the stickman swings, then learn it: pronunciation, meaning, and an example sentence. • Notebook Siege — Angry-doodles-style slingshot game. 30 hand-crafted levels across 3 chapters, plus endless mode. • Paper Football — Flick a folded paper triangle across the desk. Score touchdowns on notebook paper. • Paper Airplane — Launch a paper airplane through rings and past obstacles. Tilt to steer. • Doodle Jump — Bounce a stickman up through pencil platforms. How high can you go? A new puzzle every day: The Daily Challenge rotates through the week — a fresh Minesweeper board, Word Search, Maze, Winding Words, Five Letters, and more. Everyone gets the same puzzle. Keep your streak alive with tally marks in the margin, and share your result as a hand-drawn card. Everything you'd want, nothing you wouldn't: - No account required. Just open and play. - Works completely offline. No Wi-Fi, no problem. - No ads during gameplay - ever. - AI opponents for solo play. - Sound effects that feel like pencil on paper. - Dark mode support throughout. - Warm notebook paper aesthetic.
