Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is price: Verbole Russian at Free against Braincup's $0.99. Verbole Russian also leads on rating (4.4 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). Braincup's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Verbole Russian holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Verbole Russian has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of Verbole Russian's written reviews are positive against 100% of Braincup's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Verbole Russian ships an update every 3 months, Braincup weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
