Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: 番茄ToDo at 4.9 against 英语口语听说训练8000句听读离线版HD's 4.5. 番茄ToDo also leads on ratings volume (4.8K vs 2) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). 英语口语听说训练8000句听读离线版HD's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 89%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. 英语口语听说训练8000句听读离线版HD sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and 番茄ToDo sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
番茄ToDo holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 番茄ToDo has 4.8K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of 英语口语听说训练8000句听读离线版HD's written reviews are positive against 89% of 番茄ToDo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
英语口语听说训练8000句听读离线版HD ships an update monthly, 番茄ToDo every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
