Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: GPS Fleet Manager at 100% against FMC's 33%. GPS Fleet Manager also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 17.0). FMC's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 3.3) and monetization model (free vs subscription). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
FMC holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FMC has 92 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of FMC's written reviews are positive against 100% of GPS Fleet Manager's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
FMC ships an update every 5 weeks, GPS Fleet Manager every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
