Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Inspect at 4.5 against Open Source's 3.7. Inspect also leads on review sentiment (87% vs 50%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 months). Open Source's advantage is iOS requirement (7.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
