ShiftRest

After a night shift, you're exhausted but can't sleep. And every week you wonder: when am I actually supposed to go to bed? ShiftRest turns your shift pattern into a sleep plan — main sleep, naps, caffeine cutoff, and light timing — automatically. No account. No server. Your data never leaves your phone. Works offline in the break room. SOUND FAMILIAR? - You oversleep after nights, then can't fall asleep before the next one - You never know when (or whether) to nap before a night shift - Your caffeine timing is guesswork, and it wrecks your day sleep - Every sleep app assumes you sleep at the same time every day. You don't. WHAT SHIFTREST DOES Enter a month of shifts in about 30 seconds Tap day, evening, night, or off stamps onto a calendar — or drag to paint a whole stretch. Save your usual rotation as a template and apply it in one step. A sleep plan that follows your roster A circadian model reads your pattern and suggests main sleep, split sleep, and on-shift naps. Your home screen shows one line: what to do next, and why. Know when to stop caffeine Using a caffeine half-life model, ShiftRest calculates today's last-coffee time and reminds you — quietly. Light timing guidance Gentle reminders for when to seek light and when to avoid it (sunglasses on the drive home after nights), so your body clock shifts the way you need it to. Post-shift mode After a night shift, the app greets you with a dimmer, warmer screen and just two things: nap until when, and when to sleep tonight. Zero input required in the morning. Review, without guilt ShiftRest reads your sleep from Apple Health and lays it next to the plan. A monthly tile grid shows how well-rested you've been. No streaks, no scores that shame you. THE SCIENCE, IN THE OPEN Plans are based on the two-process model of sleep regulation, caffeine half-life, and the human phase-response to light — standard tools in sleep research. Every suggestion comes with a "why?" and references you can read in the app. We suggest; we never prescribe. PRIVATE BY DESIGN - Everything is computed on your device. There is no server. - No account, no sign-up, no tracking SDKs. - Notifications are worded so your roster stays your business. FREE - Unlimited shift entry - Today's and tomorrow's sleep and nap plan - Caffeine and light reminders for today SHIFTREST PRO (7-day free trial) - Plans up to 7 days ahead - Plan vs. actual dashboard (Apple Health) - Post-shift recovery mode - Notification customization $19.99/year (about $1.67/month), monthly and lifetime options available.
