In the same way, energy and electricity production have been at the center of both digital and public debates for more than a year, confronting French public opinion with a great deal of information, sometimes partial, often contradictory. Orano, as a major player in the French nuclear industry, has an obligation to speak publicly about this energy source. We thus hired the polling institute BVA in April 2019 to better understand the perceptions of the French public and how much they know about the nuclear industry. The results led us to design a teaching tool to help you respond to questions and misconceptions with solid arguments. After all, who is in a better position to dialog and debate the energy question than you, Orano’s employees? So we are offering you the tool scOpe, available in paper form and as a mobile app. You’ll find simple responses and arguments, figures, articles and their references, as well as illustrations.
