Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is ads: Phyzseek at none against HIIT's shown. HIIT's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and ratings volume (31K vs 87). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HIIT sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Phyzseek sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

HIIT holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HIIT has 31K ratings behind it against 87, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 91% of HIIT's written reviews are positive against 84% of Phyzseek's.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
