The clearest difference is rating: Trade Rumors at 4.8 against BaltimoreBaseball.com's 4.4. Trade Rumors also leads on ratings volume (9.2K vs 17). BaltimoreBaseball.com's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Trade Rumors holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trade Rumors has 9.2K ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of Trade Rumors's written reviews are positive against 83% of BaltimoreBaseball.com's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Trade Rumors ships an update every 2 months, BaltimoreBaseball.com every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
