Verdict
The clearest difference is monetization model: Inoreader at freemium against Fiery Feeds's subscription. Inoreader also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (4.4K vs 469). Fiery Feeds's advantage is review sentiment (73% vs 64%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Inoreader sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Fiery Feeds sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Inoreader holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Inoreader has 4.4K ratings behind it against 469, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 64% of Inoreader's written reviews are positive against 73% of Fiery Feeds's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Inoreader ships an update fortnightly, Fiery Feeds weekly. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
