LingoPop is a playful and customizable way to learn new languages through games. It is a DIY language learning app that lets you create the vocabulary you want to practice. If you're someone who enjoys taking charge of your study process, this app is designed for you. Here’s why LingoPop might just become one your favorite language-learning companions: Total Control Over What You Study - Use the pre-installed vocabulary or customize it to suit your needs. - Edit, delete, or add your own vocabulary to focus on words and phrases that matter to you. Flexible and Fun Features One of the coolest features? You can create a vocabulary group in one language you’re learning and translate it into another language you’re studying. It’s a great way to practice multiple languages simultaneously while keeping things fun and engaging. Important Notes About Apple Tools - Translation: Using phrases and short sentences in the vocabulary is often best; Apple’s built-in translation depends on the context, and a phrase or sentence provides more context than a word. In addition, the translator doesn’t always offer regional variations. For example, Spanish translations default to Spain’s vocabulary, but the speech synthesizers offer regional accents (like Mexican Spanish). - Speech: While the default voices may sound robotic, Apple offers FREE Enhanced and Premium voices for download. LingoPop provides easy instructions to upgrade your listening experience. Make It Your Own The pre-installed vocabulary is a starting point based on what I thought might be useful for people starting out. But LingoPop makes it easy to edit and create word groups that match your level and preferences. Plus, you can share your custom vocab sets with friends by copying and pasting text. Languages: Spanish, French, Chinese, Italian, German, English, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Korean, Hindi, Indonesian, Polish, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese, Dutch. Respect for Your Privacy LingoPop doesn’t track you or collect your data. Your learning journey stays entirely yours. Feedback Welcome I’d love to hear what you think and how I can improve LingoPop to make it better for you. Constructive and kind feedback is always appreciated! If you’re ready to take charge of your language learning in a fun and flexible way, download LingoPop today. Let’s pop some vocab bubbles together!
