The clearest difference is review sentiment: غابة الحروف at 100% against Float or Sink's 50%. غابة الحروف also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 47 months). Float or Sink's advantage is rating (4.0 vs 3.5). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Float or Sink holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: غابة الحروف has 19 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of غابة الحروف's written reviews are positive against 50% of Float or Sink's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
غابة الحروف ships an update every 6 weeks, Float or Sink every 47 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
