Thanks to this application (and the other Widget apps from PacoLabs), you can now customize the Home screen and the Today view of your device, by adding custom widgets for some specific purposes. From anywhere in your device, you'll have access to your own information and actions. Each Audio Note widget allows to record and play an audio note. This is the quickest way to record and play some voice recordings to remember the things that you might forget. Where did you park? what was the code to open the door? what did you had to remember? You can also have a recorded message of the person you like, always with you. A title can be added, and look can be customized. If necessary, you can hide the record button in the Today view (to avoid any unwanted change). Those Widgets are compatible with the new iOS 14 Home Screen Widgets. The application is really easy to use and is adapted to the fresh look of your device. Dark mode of iOS13 is supported. In Today view: You can add as many widgets as you want and they will be displayed in up to 3 different lists. Those same lists will be available in the Today view and in the application (although it is possible, if you want, to hide some widgets in the Today view). To avoid overloading the Today view, when too many widgets are displayed, an intuitive control will allow you to navigate from one widget to another. Even if the main purpose of the app is to view the widgets in the Today view, it can also be very handy to view them directly in the application (a long press on a widget in the Today view will open it directly in the main application).

Store Shopper keeps your shopping organized around where you buy things — not just what you need. • Assign each item to the stores where you typically buy it. When you need something, mark it. The app instantly builds a ready-to-use shopping list for every store that carries it. • Head to the store, check off items as you shop, then tap Checkout. Checked items are removed from all your store lists automatically — so if you picked up butter at Walmart, it won't show up when you shop at Target. The result: one setup, zero list management, and a separate focused list ready every time you walk into a store.

Verdict
The clearest difference is price: Store Shopper at Free against Audio Note Widget's $0.99. Store Shopper also leads on review sentiment (64% vs 33%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 months). Audio Note Widget's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and rating (4.0 vs 3.7). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Store Shopper is free to download; Audio Note Widget costs $0.99 up front. Store Shopper sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Audio Note Widget asks for nothing beyond the download.
Audio Note Widget holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Store Shopper has 19 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Audio Note Widget's written reviews are positive against 64% of Store Shopper's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Audio Note Widget ships an update every 6 months, Store Shopper every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
