The clearest difference is rating: FlashInvaders at 4.9 against InvaderHunter App's 1.0. FlashInvaders also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ratings volume (903 vs 1). InvaderHunter App's advantage is update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 11 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 77%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. InvaderHunter App sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. FlashInvaders asks for nothing beyond the download.
FlashInvaders holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FlashInvaders has 903 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of FlashInvaders's written reviews are positive against 100% of InvaderHunter App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
FlashInvaders ships an update every 11 months, InvaderHunter App every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
