The clearest difference is rating: Pixel Art Maker at 4.8 against LETS SIGNAL's 4.4. Pixel Art Maker also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (11K vs 13). LETS SIGNAL's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 91%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pixel Art Maker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and LETS SIGNAL sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Pixel Art Maker holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pixel Art Maker has 11K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 91% of Pixel Art Maker's written reviews are positive against 100% of LETS SIGNAL's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Pixel Art Maker ships an update every 9 days, LETS SIGNAL every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
