Flocks is not just another puzzler. It's a world of never-ending, simple and beautiful "scenarios". You will need to think outside the box in each one of them. But it won't be tedious, we promise: they are physics based, they are fast, they are really fun, and there are many of them. Instead of controlling a single character, you will be handling groups (Flocks), combining and splitting them to solve every challenge you face. Grab objects, move them, pile them... Anything you can think of! The beautiful design is intended to create the illusion of being a simple two-dimensional illustration, while allowing you to enjoy a real three-dimensional realm that you wouldn't expect. Have fun!

Verdict
The clearest difference is monetization model: flocks at free against Drift'n'Drive's paid. flocks also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.1) and update cadence (monthly vs every 6 months). Drift'n'Drive's advantage is review sentiment (59% vs 42%) and chart position (#131 vs unranked). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Drift'n'Drive costs $2.99 and flocks $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
flocks holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 65 and 126 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Drift'n'Drive's written reviews are positive against 42% of flocks's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Drift'n'Drive ships an update every 6 months, flocks monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
