No ads, no tracking, no subscriptions. Spades is a trick-taking card game that can be played with 3 players solo, 4 players solo, or 4 players with partners (2 teams of 2). A standard 52-card deck is dealt, then players bid the number of tricks they can take. The goal is to take as many tricks as were bid. When playing with partners, North/South is one team, West/East is the other, and teammates' bids and tricks are combined, so one player's underbid can compensate for his teammate's overbid. This app allows you to configure number of players and teams, the appearance of the table and cards, rules about nil bids and when spades can be lead. There are instructions included in the app, as well as a setting to make your robot opponents less aggressive or more aggressive. Spades Gold edition has no advertising and no in-app purchases. It includes several card back and tabletop options that are not available in the ad-supported edition.

About

Scopa

Features

Scopa is one of Italy's best-loved card games — and this app is the easiest way to actually learn it, not just download it and get confused by the scoring. This is a solo game — you'll always be playing against an AI opponent, never another person, so you can learn at your own pace without pressure. WATCH A HAND Sit back and watch two AI players play a full hand of Scopa against each other, with every move explained in plain language as it happens. See exactly why a card was played, why it captured what it captured, and how it affects each of the five ways to score — Most Cards, Most Denari, Settebello, Primiera, and Scopas. No pressure, no clock — just narrated play you can follow at your own pace. PRACTICE MODE When you're ready, play a real hand yourself against an AI teacher-opponent. After each card you play, you get instant, honest feedback: a "Nice!" when you've made the strongest play, an "Also Good" when your card was a genuinely valid alternative, or a friendly Coach Tip explaining what would have worked better and why — covering captures, the Settebello, Denari, Primiera, and Scopas. No judgement when you only had one legal card to play, either — the app knows the difference between a mistake and a forced move. PLAY Once you've got the hang of it, play a normal solo hand against the AI, with an optional on/off hint toggle whenever you want a nudge. CARD VALUES & SCORING A dedicated reference page walks through exactly how to win: how a capture works (matching a card or summing several), the Scopa bonus for clearing the table, capture values, Primiera values, and a full breakdown of all five ways to score a point — Most Cards, Most Denari, Settebello, Primiera, and Scopas — plus tips on what to chase and why. FOUR CLASSIC DECKS Play with authentic Napoletane, Spanish, French, or Sicilian card art — your choice, any time. ENGLISH & ITALIAN Every mode, every explanation, every button — fully available in both languages. DAY & NIGHT THEME Switch between a bright parchment look and a darker table for low-light play. Whether you grew up playing Scopa at the kitchen table or you're learning it for the first time, this app teaches the real game — properly, patiently, and in your own language, against a patient AI opponent instead of a human one.
