Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: The Rambam App at 85% against Moadim's 50%. The Rambam App also leads on ratings volume (54 vs 7). Moadim's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Moadim holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Rambam App has 54 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Moadim's written reviews are positive against 85% of The Rambam App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Moadim ships an update every 11 days, The Rambam App every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
