IPPT Buddy
Read full descriptionHide full description
From 1 Sep 2014, the SAF will launch a pilot implementation of a new and simpler Individual Physical Proficiency Test (IPPT) format, which will be accompanied by a new scoring system. The new IPPT is expected to be fully implemented across the SAF in 2015. Like any newly introduced system, there is bound to be some learning curve. This simple yet user-friendly app hopes to make the transition to the new system as smooth and painless as possible. Features include: 1. Auto calculation of awards requirements based on your NS status and vocation. This will be regularly updated to support more criteria once more details are released. 2. Auto calculation of total points with breakdown of points for individual station and award achieved. 3. Auto saving of all keyed data for convenience. More features coming soon… :) All feedback and suggestions are welcome. Look inside your brain with SensifyAware. • ScensifyAware includes test modules for smell, vision, hearing, fine motor skills, memory, cognition, vocabulary, and language. • The sense of smell is used in conjunction with the ScentAware olfactory test kit. Loss of smell can happen due to several reasons like viral infection or loss of memory. Sense of smell is deeply connected with memory and cognition. Research has shown loss of smell is an early sign of neurodegenerative diseases. Loss of smell can lead to anxiety, changes in feeding habits and even depression. • The ScentAware test kit is available in two sizes: a 8-scent kit and a 16-scent kit. Each inhaler contains a single ingredient of pure essential oil, that we are all familiar with from our daily lives. The scents are not named, instead they are labelled with a QR code. Using the SensifyAware app scan the QR code and identify the smell. Through the SensifyAware app and the ScentAware kit you can evaluate your sense of smell and re-train your lost sense of smell.
