‘Music Lesson NotePad’ is an application for iPhone designed to help music performance students in their daily individual practice. Similarly to this app's bigger sibling - the application for iPad ‘LessonNoter’ – it enables students to record the highlights of their individual lessons in a series of multimedia notes – audio, video, text, graphics, textual remarks, cues, and symbols. The core advantage of the application is that all notes are presented contextually within the music text thus making it instantly and intuitively clear what are the most important tasks. In other words, the notes effectively turn a page of music into visual plan for practice session. Furthermore, audio, video, and text notes are presented as interactive markers – tapping a marker instantly starts playback of the respective audio or video note, or display the full text of the text note. Along with recording capability (including speech to text transcription), Music Lesson Noter offers rich set of drawing tools: multiple colors, variable stroke width, semitransparent shading. On top of that, you may find especially handy a set of 12 dynamically scaled drawing patterns - straight lines, wavy lines, arcs, arrows, ellipses, rectangles, brackets. Further expanding the possibilities are three types of Remarks: Labels that resemble typographically conventional performance remarks, ‘pinned’ Cues with editable tags hinting on the task, and a set of 24 graphic symbols. Creating any of these notes was designed to be ultimately simple and quick. For example, it takes just one tap to start an audio or video recording, or to dictate a text note, or to start drawing, etc. To compensate for relatively small screen size, the application automatically zooms onto the area where you have placed the note marker, so that you can instantly re-fine its position in relation to the music selection. Zooming can also facilitate drawing with fine-grained control. All notes are saved into an archive, which means that you can instantly access any content whether it was created a day before or a few months ago. To make exploring the application faster and more engaging, Music Lesson Noter comes with a sample lesson that presents various kinds of notes and also allows you to create your own new ones. Also, each screen features a Help messages that will guide you on the most typical actions. The application is free with a possibility to upgrade to a ‘Pro’ version via In-App-Purchase. Elements ME is the tool that trains the brain while you learn the language of music, all of this with a fun and engaging interface! More than 1,400 exercises create a whole learning experience! **The Music Language** Music is our universal language, and the basis to be able to communicate in it lies in the understanding of this language. This is the point when a normal person’s brain becomes a musician’s brain. Regardless of your way of experiencing music, there are 4 main competencies that are always present at a cognitive level. Elements ME works with these 4 competencies to achieve an understanding, absorption, and mastering of the musical language. - Listening skills: ear training, understanding of pitch, and distance between notes. With Elements ME, your ear will be ready to appreciate and understanding music from the moment you hear it. - Music Theory: structural and mathematical processing. Elements ME gives your brain the agility to comprehend and manipulate the infinite myriad of options within musical structure. - Reading skills: the capacity to read notes on the staff is key to have a truly activated musical brain, but Elements ME goes even beyond. Our exercises help to train reaction times, improvising, speed, and precision. - Rhythm: the engine and heart of music. With Elements ME, you will be able to develop the rhythmic skills needed to communicate in music, as well as obtaining all the extra benefits of this training. Elements ME is the ideal tool: - It doesn’t matter if you are about to begin your path in music, if you are a veteran performer, or if you are looking to have fun while you work on your brain skills. Elements ME has the right level of challenge for you. - Proficiency: analyze your results and discover your strengths with the proficiency system, exclusive to Elements ME. - Defined progress: 8 Levels separate you from having a musically active brain. Every day you will be better! - Adaptable: Elements ME is compatible with any school, apps, or method that you are using to learn music. With or without a teacher, with Elements ME, learning is one step away! - It simply works: educational institutions have harvested the benefits of a musically activated brain in their students, in the music areas, as well as the rest of them. **Learn in order to perform vs Perform in order to learn** A brain that becomes musically activated first can later perform music on an instrument easier than a brain that first takes an instrument and tries to understand the language later. Elements ME is the window to an accelerated and excellent development. You can have a musician’s brain without the thousands of hours required to develop it! Music is our universal language.
