Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Readiness TW e at 48% against SpotCam's 26%. SpotCam's advantage is rating (3.2 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (25 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
SpotCam holds the better App Store score, 3.2 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SpotCam has 25 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 26% of SpotCam's written reviews are positive against 48% of Readiness TW e's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
SpotCam ships an update every 3 weeks, Readiness TW e every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
