Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Speed Demons at 4.9 against Super Grav's 4.0. Speed Demons also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (239 vs 1). Super Grav's advantage is review sentiment (88% vs 77%) and price ($2.99 vs $4.99). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Speed Demons holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Speed Demons has 239 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of Super Grav's written reviews are positive against 77% of Speed Demons's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Super Grav ships an update every 9 months, Speed Demons every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
