Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: 我要自学网HD at 100% against XuetangX's 57%. 我要自学网HD also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). XuetangX's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
