Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Silk Go at none against MarTV Mobile's shown. Silk Go also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and ratings volume (193 vs 32). MarTV Mobile's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.6). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.2 for Silk Go against 3.3 for MarTV Mobile. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Silk Go has 193 ratings behind it against 32, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 27% of Silk Go's written reviews are positive against 18% of MarTV Mobile's.
Silk Go ships an update every 2 months, MarTV Mobile every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
