The EMCO-TEST app includes helpful tools regardless of your hardness testing machine! This app offers the following tools: •Hardness conversion •Diagonal conversion •Maximum error of hardness testing machine •Rockwell and Vickers corrections •Lens selection •Hardness Know-How Hardness conversion: With this tool you can quickly and easily revalue between Rockwell, Vickers, Brinell, Knoop and depth test methods. Maximum error of hardness testing machine: Determine quickly and easily the maximum error of the entered hardness of the test block. In the indirect verification of the hardness testing machine with the test block the permissible limits shall not be exceeded. Rockwell and Vickers corrections: Get your correction value for Rockwell or correction factor for Vickers when you are testing on curved surfaces. Lens selection: Find the right lens for your required hardness testing methods. Hardness Know-How: Find everything about the basic principles of hardness testing (Rockwell, Brinell, Vickers, Knoop as well as other test methods such as carbon, plastic and Leeb testing). According to Standards: ASTM E140 ASTM E18 ASTM E384, E92 ASTM E10 EN ISO 18265 EN ISO 6508 EN ISO 6507 EN ISO 6506 EN ISO 4545

About

Fit Tolerance ISO

  • Supports ISO and ANSI standards
  • Determines clearance, transition, and interference fits
  • Provides schematic fit representations
  • Includes preferred tolerances and fits
  • Works with metric units
Features

Limits, fits and tolerances calculator has been developed to calculate engineering tolerances of inner and outer features of journal bearings, linear bearings, thrust bearings, bushings, ball bearings, roller bearings, housings, cylinder bores, drilled holes, linear and precision shafts, pistons, etc. The calculator works in line with ISO 286-1 (2010), ISO 286-2 (2010) and ANSI B4.2 (1978) standards which are based on metric units. According to the input parameters of nominal size and hole/shaft tolerances, size limits and deviations for hole/shaft are calculated and fit type is selected among the clearance, transition and interference fits. The schematic representation of the fit is also drawn. The preferred tolerances and fits advised by ISO and ANSI standards can be found in the "Supplements" section.
