The clearest difference is rating: Leo AR Camera at 4.5 against Whale Camera's 3.8. Leo AR Camera also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 28 months) and ratings volume (2.9K vs 5). Whale Camera's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Leo AR Camera holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Leo AR Camera has 2.9K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.
