Verdict
Batch Resize and BatchFilm both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 59% of Batch Resize's written reviews are positive against 9% of BatchFilm's. Batch Resize also leads on ratings volume (507 vs 8). BatchFilm's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Batch Resize has 507 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 59% of Batch Resize's written reviews are positive against 9% of BatchFilm's.
Batch Resize ships an update every 3 months, BatchFilm every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
