Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is ads: Batched at none against Batch Resize's shown. Batched also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and review sentiment (75% vs 59%). Batch Resize's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (512 vs 169). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Batch Resize holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 512 and 169 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 59% of Batch Resize's written reviews are positive against 75% of Batched's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
